PHYSICAL SCIENCE - DUAL CREDIT
This class is taught in conjunction with Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo. This is a full year course.
This course covers the basic concepts in the fields of physics, chemistry, geology, and astronomy. There is an emphasis on a detailed picture of energy and its uses, including an understanding of both mechanical and thermal efficiencies and the limitations that these efficiencies place on our world. The class utilizes computer based laboratory experiences and demonstrations to help meet the need of a more technological demanding society.
